Clothing Donation and Textile Recycling Program

On average over 80lbs of textile waste per person, every year, ends up in landfills however, by dropping textile items in OwlSwap’s bins you are not only helping people but helping the planet. Donations are sorted by the OwlSwap team and volunteers. Items collected from the bins benefit students at KSU, and local non-profits, including Hope Thru Soap. Textiles and garments that are unusable are donated to a local textile recycling nonprofit, re:loom. Learn how KSU and re:loom are advancing sustainable practices while positively impacting our community here.

The clothing donation and textile recycling bins are currently closed due to COVID-19.
